Not a typical cedar chest. It opens with a push button (no lock). There is an intricate ledge on the top, you can see it above the push button. Needs TLC, some nicks and scratches.

Like most things on this site, this trunk needs a little TLC. The lock and hinges are metal and look rustic. It looks hand/home made. With the lock closed, the top is not completely closed (see picture). It is not obvious but not perfect, either.
